Sean Parker, Austin Hillebrecht, and their crew are looking for individuals interested in helping bring their film to life, a donation of $5 dollars alone will get your name or business name into the credits as a producer, they have many other rewards available for larger donations, some that even include the ability to create creative content for the film.

Take a look at this page it tells the story of their film and past works in a short well done animation.

Even a glance is wonderful support.

So for the record I need to record this story somewhere or I will likely forget it. I might as well share it with all of you.

A couple days ago I was walking down the bike trail near my parents house in Kenmore, Washington with a couple of friends. We went shopping in some of the stores along the trail and got out of them and back on the trail home just as dusk was starting to crawl in. Suddenly we heard thousands of crows cawing and looked up to see what must have been between 10,000 to 20,000 birds moving over head in a thick dark line through the sky from one horizon to the next. We looked up to see the birds path passing right below the moon. It gets better, suddenly over a tree line nearby came one of the huge brand new passenger planes that boeing was testing with a little tester jet flying side by side with it over the darkening skies. The plane was flying low so it looked very large and it startled the crows who must have thought it was a threat. So as the plane passed over the crow line, the crows directly below it broke out of formation and started flying in different directions even though the plane was hundreds of feet above them. The crows in the sky made sure that they would not line up with the silhouette of the plane.

No camera of course, things never pan out that way, the moon, the dusking sky, the plane and jet flying side by side parting a sea of crows like Moses. A once in a life time image for the mind to keep.

I get lots of those in the great out doors it seems, wrestling and snorting moles, galloping shrews, hawks in tight pursuit of eagles, fawns that want to play tag with me, large heron battles. Nature loves mocking me as a photographer, but at least I get the experiences. =)

Dear Watchers:

If you read this please send me your favorite piece of artwork from your own gallery in a note. Everyone who watches me and does this in the next two weeks will be featured in my journal. It will be fun to see the cross over of artists who watch my account. If you are not an artist, send me your favorite piece of art and I will feature it in a section for art appreciators. =)

(Pasted from my stock account so if you watch both respond to whichever you like)

I am sorry that I have been so inactive for the last few months. I want to here from all of you, how have you all been!

But now onto the real news:

Someone close to me has planned to put their second feature length film up on deviantart in the form of episodes. The film "The Defective Detective" was finished in November 2007 and started in summer 2006 (right after he left high school). Sean Parkers "The Defective Detective" is a charming, noir-filled comedy with bursts of entertaining action scenes as detective Graham Sharp, "the worlds unluckiest detective" has a case way over his head fall into his lap. Sit back and watch as he takes on the Goonion (the union for goons) to save the nation... and to prove his worth to himself.

Here are links the the currently released trailer and 1st episode:
Stay tuned with his account as he releases the rest of the episodes for the next few weeks. Also know that in the near future he will be releasing news of a poster making contest for our next movie project, and we would love for many digital and traditional artists to take part in that.
